2/6 Full-Day Noh Mai Meditation Seminar in Tokyo

UDAKA Michishige invites you to experience the intellectual and mysterious depths and health benefits of practicing Noh.
In the full-day Seminar on February 6, 2010, students will be carefully guided through meditation, Noh chant, and Noh dance lessons. First time participants are very welcome to attend.

◆ The Seminar will be held at the Kojimachi Kuminkan (Kojimachi Community Center), 5 minutes on foot from the Hanzomon Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line and 5 minutes from the Kojimachi Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line.
◆ Please bring white socks or preferrably white tabi socks to the lesson. We will provide Noh fans.
◆ Lesson fees are ¥10,000 per person, payable at the door. Please apply at our office before the seminar date.

UDAKA Michishige is both a professional Noh actor and a Noh mask carver. He was designated a representative of a National Intangible Cultural Asset by the Japanese government in 1991. He not only teaches and performs extensively in Japan, but has performed Noh and exhibited Noh masks internationally...
